About Bock Bar
Bock Bar is a cozy European-style pub in South Park that serves old-world style beers and delicious German food (words we didn’t know went together) in a dimly lit, all wood space. With over 30+ beers on tap, you can find all of your hard to pronounce favorites, like Dunkels, Hefeweizen, Schwarzbier, Doppelbocks, and Kölsches – beers that are hard to find freshly tapped anywhere in San Diego, or really the United States.
The warm and low lighting, dark wood, and cozy booths make it feel like this place has been around for years and the ambience is perfect for posting up with friends for good laughs and conversation any day of the week. Their menu is German street food from the people at Biersal and includes bratwurst, chicken schnitzel, and potato salad. Feeling competitive? Play a friendly game of shuffleboard or billiards while you wait for your Bavarian pretzel with beer cheese.
Bock Bar brings offers a warm counter balance to the modern trappings of most breweries and restaurants in San Diego.
