Bock Featured in a Look at San Diego’s New Generation of Beer Bars
We’re honored to see Bock featured in the San Diego Union-Tribune in a story about the new generation of craft beer bars helping shape San Diego’s beer scene.
The article looks at how beer bars have changed over the years and why places like Bock still matter, not just as somewhere to find a great beer, but as neighborhood gathering places.
When we opened Bock in South Park, our goal was to create a real neighborhood pub: a place for German, Czech, Belgian and local craft beer, but also somewhere to meet friends, grab dinner, watch a match, play pool or settle into a booth for a while.
