BREWERY SPOTLIGHT:
Human People Beer

Human People Beer is a Seattle-based brewery founded by industry veterans Andrew Schwartz, Tim Kamolz, and Mallorie King, all of whom previously worked at Modern Times Beer in San Diego. With deep experience in brewing, hop and malt sourcing, and product development, the trio launched Human People to bring their vision of highly drinkable, flavor-forward beers to Seattle. The brewery is located in the West Canal Yards development in Queen Anne and features a cozy taproom inspired by European alpine cafes.

Human People specializes in brewing modern takes on classic styles, focusing on balance, aromatics, and drinkability. Their lineup includes beers like PikNik Alpine Pilsner, a crisp, open-fermented lager brewed with Slovenian hops; High Hopes, a hazy IPA loaded with tropical hop character; and Of The Moment, a fresh hop West Coast pilsner brewed in collaboration with Humble Sea Brewing. With a commitment to quality and community, Human People Beer is quickly becoming a standout in Seattle’s vibrant craft beer scene.

Draft Lineup

PIKNIK | .5L | - $9

Alpine-style Pilsner | ABV: 4.3%

Brewed for Seattle, inspired by the Slovenian Alps. Piknik was brewed with a blend of distinctive European Pilsner malts and the unique Styrian Bobek hop, giving it a pleasant bitterness hugged by a soft malt flavor.

LOVERS | .5L | - $9

Helles Lager | ABV: 4.5%

Bright, light, and foamy. Lovers’ beauty lies in simple layers of complexity. An ever-present malt character is balanced and guided by subtle hop aromas and light bitterness.

FREE JAZZ | .5L | - $9

Dark Lager | ABV: 4.5%

Brewed in collaboration with the avant-garde lager brewers from Double Elbow and Living Häus

BY GUESS OR BY GOSH | .5L | - $9

Golden Ale | ABV: 4%

By guess or by gosh, somehow we've arrived here. An English-inspired Golden Ale brewed for the summer months. Clean and crisp with an alluring malt character and [quite] nicely balanced hop flavor.

PRODUCERIST | .5L | - $9

West Coast IPA | ABV: 7.5%

WC IPA with a focus on Simcoe, Tim's favorite hop of all time! Simcoe and Simcoe Cryo lead a bright, black raspberry hop aroma, backed up by the intensity of Columbus Cryo - an almost overwhelming aroma that can only, and most accurately, be described as DANK.

OTHER VISION | .5L | - $9

Hazy DIPA | ABV: 8.4%

An exploration of the balance a higher ABV can lend an extensively hop-saturated beer. This Double IPA was dry-hopped three separate times over multiple days with Citra, Eggers Nelson, and a kiss of Krush.

HEAVY CONNECTION | .5L | - $9

OAT BROWN ALE WITH COFFEE AND HAZELNUT | ABV: 5.5%

Heavy Connection was brewed in collaboration with TapRoom Beer and inspired by a delicious, nutritious breakfast. This beer is reminiscent of that first morning cup paired with a piping hot bowl of oatmeal. Aromas rich with caramel malts and freshly brewed coffee meet a silky, present mouthfeel that belies its sessionable ABV. It's a nice beer and a beautiful exploration into modern malting techniques.
